Free Events

Creating a free Event, registrations, admission lists and included QR ticketing carry no service fee. No ticketing subscription or setup fee.

Paid Tickets

4.44% of the Ticket price + EUR 0.44 per Ticket, paid by the Buyer in addition to the Organiser's tax-inclusive Ticket price. The fee itself includes applicable tax. Ticket price, service fee and total appear from the offer and again before payment. Fees are calculated and rounded to the nearest cent for each Ticket, using half-up rounding; the order is the sum of those rounded lines.

2gather bears the ordinary payment-processing cost out of its service fee. Organiser proceeds are subject to due refunds, dispute recovery and the notified payout/reserve rules; “no deduction for ordinary processing” is not a guarantee against those obligations.

Non-profit associations and student associations

4.44% + EUR 0.22 for each Ticket priced at EUR 17.50 or less. Above that price the standard fee applies to that Ticket. Proof of registered non-profit status and appropriate Stripe account verification is required; a registry number alone does not establish every eligibility condition. A registered student association qualifies on the same evidence.

Eligibility and countries

Paid sales require an eligible professional Organiser (including a legally registered sole trader) or registered association, verification, appropriate event liability cover and active Stripe capabilities. A private non-professional individual may host free Events only.

The launch scope is Organisers established in Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, only where that country is activated. Currency: euros. UK, Switzerland, US and Canada are not part of this launch. Further countries/currencies require prior approval and published terms, not merely provider technical support.

Payouts and reserves

We normally initiate payout of available, undisputed proceeds within two business days after the Event, subject to refunds, justified holds and the reserve. Bank credit time is separate. For the first three completed paid Events of a new Organiser, or forecast Ticket proceeds over EUR 10,000, a proportionate 20% reserve ordinarily runs until thirty calendar days after the Event, with lower/earlier release where risk warrants. The schedule, calculation basis and any earlier provider deadline are disclosed and accepted before sales. Provider/legal holding limits always apply; incompatible sales may be refused or limited. See organiser terms §§8.8 and 8.9.

Refunds

Change of mind: no automatic change-of-mind refund for new purchases under version 2.1. A more generous Organiser policy is shown before purchase. Free transfer is available only where enabled and supported; automatic resale is not promised.

For a purely discretionary change-of-mind refund, the default is to refund the Ticket price and retain the separately disclosed buyer service fee. The exact refund amount is communicated before the Buyer accepts that discretionary arrangement. A more generous binding Organiser policy or mandatory right takes precedence. Cancellation and material-change refunds follow the service-fee rule above; mandatory rights and our own service failures remain exceptions. No second processing charge is deducted from a mandatory total refund.

For an Organiser cancellation, the Buyer is entitled to a refund of the Ticket price. For a material date/location change, the Buyer may accept the changed Event or request a Ticket-price refund. The separately disclosed buyer service fee pays for 2gather's booking, ticket issuance and payment-coordination services already supplied and is ordinarily retained, including when the Organiser cancels or changes the Event. This is not an absolute exclusion: the fee is refunded where required by mandatory law, where 2gather's own fault or failure gives rise to that remedy, or under a more generous binding refund commitment. Any other mandatory remedies remain unaffected. Before purchase we display the Ticket price, service fee, total and this fee-refund rule. We do not retain a fee for a platform service we have failed to provide merely by invoking an Event cancellation.

The Organiser funds its Ticket-price refund. If the service fee is refundable under an applicable exception, 2gather returns it; responsibility between 2gather and the Organiser follows the actual cause and mandatory law. A retained service fee is not charged to the Organiser again. For an Organiser-attributable cancellation, only documented actual nonrecoverable processing costs not already covered by the retained fee or other recoveries may be recovered, with an itemised reconciliation and no duplicate recovery. 2gather bears its own-fault costs. This allocation does not deduct processing costs from a legally required Buyer refund. Earlier purchases retain applicable earlier commitments.

Venues and festivals billed per duo

A separate written business agreement sets the tax-exclusive price per admitted, verified duo and its duration. No-show duos are not charged. Ticket and duo fees do not cumulate unless expressly agreed. VAT/reverse charge follows the actual service and customer status; the buyer service fee is not invoiced again to the Organiser. Enquiries: support@2gather.events.

Changes and records

Fee changes are notified at least thirty days in advance and do not alter Ticket sales already governed by an earlier agreed price. The Organiser receives Event reconciliation and monthly statements and remains responsible for its own ticket-sale taxes/records, subject to any mandatory platform duties. See the CGU and organiser terms for details.
